Dennis Jones Engineering
Dennis Jones established his business, Dennis Jones Engineering Pty Ltd (‘DJE’), in March 1993. DJE is a specialised engineering supplier workshop located in Morwell in the Latrobe Valley.
DJE has been operating for over 25 as a machine shop in Morwell with a workshop area of 1100 square metres, including more than 20 years of CNC Machine programming and operation.
We can handle most jobs from small to medium in size with fast lead times as we can handle most aspects of any job we take on.
About Dennis Jones
Dennis had previously worked as a fitter and turner apprentice in Bairnsdale and Melbourne for Parken Engineering and found that this choice of career was a natural fit. He had an affinity and natural skill with machinery and grew up with a love of Go-Kart racing. His work with Go-Karts and other engineering projects grew until he decided to start his own business in 1993.
Dennis describes the business as an ‘innovator and not an imitator’. The business closely reflects Dennis’ personal interests and capacity to demonstrate clever engineering design, high technical proficiency and quality workmanship.
DJE keeps up to date with new technology and equipment primarily through contact with its suppliers; Dennis also frequents trade shows and touches base with industry representatives on a regular basis. Dennis especially takes a very personal interest in innovation and technology and uses the internet to research relevant developments.
